Symposium: The Figure in Contemporary Art
In conjunction with the exhibition American Chronicles: The Art of Norman Rockwell

American Artist Norman Rockwell is known for his ability to communicate his visions of America through his depictions of people using genre scenes. Hear from contemporary artists Bo Bartlett, Patti Warashina, and Stephen O’Donnell about how they use the human form in their artwork followed by a summary of the figure in contemporary art by Kolya Rice. This half-day program concludes the Know More Art: Visions of America series. Cost: Included in Know More Art series or, for symposium only; $15 ($10 for members, $5 for students). Educator clock hours available. Pre-registration is recommended.
