Le Sanguin chosen for the cover of Gertrude

To commemorate the release of their fifteenth issue, Gertrude Press is publishing “The Gay Issue”, featuring contributions by nineteen writers and seven visual artists. From across the spectrum, the work explores, celebrates, or subverts queer stereotypes. Stephen’s Le Sanguin from the series Les Humeurs was chosen for the cover image, while two pieces from an earlier series, Imperial Encounters, will be featured within.

Gertrude Number 15 will be available November, 2010.
